Role Overview: Sales Engineers Jobs in Lusaka

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction in Lusaka. This full-time position requires a proactive individual who can manage the sales pipeline effectively while providing technical expertise to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities, nurture leads, and convert prospects into loyal customers.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their specific needs and delivering tailored technical solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations and proposals, ensuring timely processing of sales orders and prompt response to customer inquiries.
• Provide on-site technical support including commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing product performance.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to align sales strategies and customer support objectives.
• Support the planning and execution of exhibitions, promotions, open days, and trade fairs targeting key customers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of working independently without close supervision.
• Strong sales skills including prospecting, forecasting, pitching, and presenting.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Demonstrated integrity, strong work ethic, and excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and build constructive internal and external relationships.
• Valid driver’s license and basic computer proficiency.
• Experience in technical sales is advantageous.
