Role Overview for Sales Representative Jobs in Lusaka

The Sales Representative will be responsible for expanding our market presence by managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities throughout Lusaka. This full-time position demands a proactive individual who can ensure product availability, deliver exceptional customer support, and help achieve ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Premia Supplies Limited’s household care and hygiene product range to assigned customers.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Identify and establish new accounts across retail, wholesale, institutional, and other relevant channels.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, promptly resolve complaints, and encourage repeat business.
• Conduct regular route visits, take orders, and perform timely follow-ups.
• Ensure products are well merchandised, correctly priced, and consistently stocked on shelves.
• Monitor competitor activities and report on market trends, pricing, and sales opportunities.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Support stock management, order processing, and coordinate deliveries.
• Educate customers on product usage, safety, and handling as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
• At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, household care, or related sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Competent in reporting and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within the assigned territory is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the Lusaka retail and wholesale market is a plus.
• Possession of a valid motorcycle license is an added advantage.
• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related fields is preferred.
