What we collect.
Information in your CV and application form (name, contact details, NRC or passport number, qualifications, skills, employment history, referees), information gathered at interview and in assessments, and – only if we make you an offer and with your consent – information from reference, qualification and background checks and a pre-employment medical assessment of your fitness for the role.
Why and on what ground.
To take steps at your request before entering into an employment contract (section 13(b)(i)) – to manage the recruitment process, assess your suitability and decide whom to appoint – and to comply with employment and immigration law. Any medical assessment is carried out under section 14(1)(b) by a medical professional and we receive only the fitness-for-work outcome.
Is providing your data compulsory?
You are not obliged to provide information, but if you do not provide the information needed to assess your application we may not be able to consider you for the role.
Who sees it.
The HR team and the hiring manager(s) for the role. We do not share your data with third parties unless we make you an offer that requires reference or background checks, in which case we will tell you and obtain your consent first. Your data is stored on systems in Zambia.
How long we keep it.
If your application is unsuccessful we keep your data for [12 months] after the end of the recruitment process to handle any queries or claims, after which it is securely deleted. JOB TITLE: INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER
Department: Engineering - Automation & Controls.
Reports to: Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager.

JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the effective installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all instrumentation, control systems, and automation equipment to support safe and efficient production operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs, installs, calibrates, and maintains systems and devices (sensors, transmitters, controllers) to monitor and control industrial processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Key roles involve configuring DCS/PLC/SCADA. Preparing instrument data sheets, loop diagrams, functional analysis (control, ESD, F&G), and P&IDs.
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues with industrial control systems.
Calibration, maintenance and record keeping of of LT,PT,Control valves,PID,Weighing scales etc.
Assisting with technical evaluation of vendors and performing material take-offs.
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues with industrial control systems.
Supervising the installation and conducting FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) of equipment.
Ensuring all systems comply with safety standards, regulations, and ISO guidelines.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in ERP/SAP.
Supervision & Training: Supervise technician staff, providing technical training to ensure high-quality workmanship.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
- Minmum 5 years of experience in industrial Instrumentation Maintenance/ Project.
- Sound communication skill and should be able to lead the team.
- Should have Knowledge of Human safety, Equipment safety &s and regulations.
- Sound knowledge in flow meters, control valves, PT, LT, Sensors, Calibration of equipment, PID, PLC, SCADA.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Should be capable to provide automation solution.
- B. E /B.Tech, Instrumentation/ Diploma/ with minimum Experience of 5 years in industrial instrumentation.
- Full grade 12 certificate.
