Key Responsibilities of the Workshop Supervisor
- Oversee component rebuild work, ensuring adherence to Komatsu and BIA quality standards.
- Manage and organize workshop staff, optimizing labor and equipment utilization across multiple shifts.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to plan jobs effectively and maximize workshop productivity.
- Prepare detailed assessment and assembly reports for each workshop project.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure maximum availability and operational efficiency.
- Enforce strict compliance with safe work practices and health and safety regulations.
- Occasionally work evenings or weekends to support operational demands.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a fully equipped REMAN workshop, preferably with mining equipment components.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanics, electricity, hydraulic and mechanical tools used in REMAN workshops.
- Hands-on technician background with in-depth understanding of Komatsu 860, 930, and 960 truck components, as well as Komatsu mining shovel components.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and coach technical staff.
- Strong communication skills in English, including reporting and documentation.
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with machine workshop manuals and maintaining safe working environments.
- Current or previous experience in a Komatsu dealership in a similar role is a plus.
