Maintenance Manager

4. MAINTENANCE MANAGER – 1 POSITION

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and supervise maintenance activities for mining and heavy equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Lead and supervise mechanics and maintenance personnel.
• Monitor equipment performance, availability and reliability.
• Diagnose recurring equipment problems and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and manufacturer maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and site management regarding equipment maintenance and service requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong experience in mining equipment and heavy machinery maintenance.
• Experience working with major mining companies such as Barrick, First Quantum or similar mining operations is highly desirable.
• Experience with CAT, Hitachi or similar equipment will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, planning, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work at mining sites.
