The Zambia Institute of Secretaries (ZIS) invites applications from qualified and experienced Zambians for several secretarial and compliance jobs in Lusaka. Established under the Zambia Institute of Secretaries Act No. 19 of 2022, ZIS is the statutory body responsible for registering and regulating the secretarial profession in Zambia. We seek dedicated professionals to join our team in full-time roles across accountancy, administration, and legal categories.

2. Personal Assistant

Job Purpose: To deliver professional and confidential secretarial and administrative support, including managing correspondence, records, scheduling, and daily office operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Office Management, Business Administration, or related field; a relevant bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
  • At least five years’ experience in secretarial or administrative roles, preferably within professional or institutional settings.
  • Typing/shorthand speed of at least 55/100 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Full Grade 12 Certificate with five ‘O’ Levels at credit level or better.
  • Membership of the Zambia Institute of Secretaries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong skills in minute-taking, transcription, document preparation, and records management.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of confidentiality and reliability.
