Multiple Positions Available at Zambia Institute of Secretaries (ZIS)

The Zambia Institute of Secretaries (ZIS) invites applications from qualified and experienced Zambians for several secretarial and compliance jobs in Lusaka. Established under the Zambia Institute of Secretaries Act No. 19 of 2022, ZIS is the statutory body responsible for registering and regulating the secretarial profession in Zambia. We seek dedicated professionals to join our team in full-time roles across accountancy, administration, and legal categories.

Available Secretarial and Compliance Jobs in Lusaka

1. Accounts Assistant

Job Purpose: To provide essential support to the Finance function through transaction processing, accurate record-keeping, reconciliations, and effective financial administration.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognised institution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or progress towards ZICA/ACCA is an advantage.
  • Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least five ‘O’ Levels at credit level or better.
  • Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficient knowledge of accounting principles, financial procedures, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
  • Membership of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) preferred.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, organisational, and communication skills with a high level of integrity and accuracy.
