ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (EHS) MANAGER

Position Overview:

Jiangsu Etern Co., Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead our EHS function at our new project site in Kitwe.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with Zambian safety regulations and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage EHS policies, procedures and programs
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections
• Ensure compliance with Workers Compensation, NAPSA, and ZEMA regulations
• Lead incident investigations and produce reports
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks to all staff
• Prepare monthly EHS reports for Management

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field
• 5-7 years of traceable experience in EHS, with at least 2 years in a Managerial position in construction, mining, or engineering projects
• Proven knowledge of Zambian EHS legislation and ISO 45001 & 14001
• Registered with relevant professional body
• Strong leadership, reporting, and communication skills
• Must be willing to relocate to Kitwe and work full-time on site

Salary & Benefits:

Gross Salary: ZMW 16,000.00 per month Other benefits as per company policy
