Translator & Interpreter

5. TRANSLATOR & INTERPRETER – 2 POSITIONS

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate verbal and written translation and interpretation between English and Chinese.
• Facilitate effective communication between Chinese management, employees, clients and other stakeholders.
• Translate work-related documents, instructions, reports and correspondence where required.
• Assist during meetings, site activities, training sessions and other business engagements.
• Ensure information is communicated accurately and professionally.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Translation, Languages, Linguistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin), both written and spoken.
• Previous experience as a translator/interpreter, preferably in a mining, construction, engineering or heavy equipment environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and demanding work environment.
• Previous experience supporting Chinese personnel in mining or industrial operations will be an added advantage.
