Pre-Sales Engineer / Senior Expert – Fiber Deployment

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze RFPs/RFQs, client requirements, technical specifications, drawings, scope of work, and tender conditions.
• Assess tender requirements for FTTx/FTTH access networks, ODN infrastructure, and metro, regional, or long-distance fiber backbone links.
• Prepare and review fiber network designs, route plans, network architecture, and deployment concepts in line with client requirements.
• Evaluate route survey information, GIS/KMZ data, existing infrastructure, right-of-way constraints, duct routes, pole routes, and deployment risks.
• Develop and validate BOQs, material take-offs, and cost estimates for fiber cables, ducts, microducts, poles, chambers/manholes, handholes, closures, splitters, ODFs, cabinets, and customer drop connections, as applicable.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ICT, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in fiber-optic network design, planning, pre-sales, tendering, or proposal engineering.
• Knowledge of FTTX/FTTH network architecture, ODN design, splitter planning, feeder/distribution/drop network planning, and fiber capacity calculations.
