Pre-Sales Engineer / Senior Expert – HV/MV Power Pre-Sales & Tendering Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze RFPs, RFQs, tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare tender compliance matrices and identify technical deviations, exclusions, risks, and clarification requirements.
• Coordinate the complete tender preparation process from initial review through final submission.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material take-offs, and equipment lists.
• Develop technical proposals for HV/MV substations, transmission lines, and protection and control systems.
• Evaluate tender requirements for HV/MV substations, transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and associated equipment.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, tendering, proposal engineering, or bid management within the power sector.
• Previous experience working on power infrastructure tenders in African markets.
• Familiarity with regional utility procurement procedures and public or private sector tender requirements.
