Tekparc Solutions LTD is currently seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Building & Civil Works Specialist to join our growing facilities and infrastructure team based in Lusaka, Zambia. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with a broad skill set in building, civil works, and maintenance to contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of our commercial properties, parking complexes, and associated roadways.

About the Role: Multi-Skilled Building & Civil Works Jobs in Lusaka

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity and safety of our facilities through a variety of construction and maintenance tasks. Your expertise will support the smooth operation of our infrastructure by ensuring all building, plumbing, and civil finishing work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Building & Construction: Perform masonry, bricklaying, concrete works, structural repairs, and carpentry across commercial buildings and site facilities.
• Plumbing & Water Systems: Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, pumps, and valves to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Road Markings & Civil Finishes: Apply precise traffic markings, parking bay lines, directional arrows, and safety walkways using thermoplastic or cold-paint methods.
• Infrastructure Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to detect wear, structural defects, leaks, or hazards and carry out timely repairs.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure all works comply with local building and aviation safety standards.
• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with electrical, automated barrier maintenance, and logistics teams during upgrades, renovations, or emergency repairs.

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in general building construction, civil maintenance, plumbing, and road marking.
• Technical Versatility: Proven skills across multiple trades including masonry, plumbing, carpentry, and pavement or road marking.
• Certifications: Possession of a relevant technical trade certificate, diploma, or craft certificate in Building Construction, Plumbing, Civil Works, or a related discipline.
• Safety Focus: Strong commitment to occupational health and safety (OHS) standards, particularly in high-traffic or regulated environments.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve structural, plumbing, or layout challenges with effective solutions.
• Physical Fitness: Capacity for manual labor, including operation of heavy or specialized hand and power tools, and working outdoors under varying weather conditions.
