Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR operations role, with solid exposure to the full employee lifecycle and day-to-day HR activities.
- Proven experience providing practical HR guidance to managers and supporting them with employee-related decisions, workplace processes, and performance matters.
- Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, and general HR operational processes.
- Ability to build and maintain effective talent pipelines for recurring and difficult-to-fill positions, ensuring suitable candidates are available when required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate and reliable HR records and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the confidence to engage professionally with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the required operational areas when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support the full employee lifecycle, providing managers and employees with practical HR guidance from recruitment and onboarding through to ongoing employment and exit processes.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions, ensuring the organisation has access to suitable talent to support ongoing workforce requirements.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment partners where required, monitoring the quality and suitability of candidates and ensuring recruitment needs are effectively supported.
- Represent the organisation at career fairs, networking events, recruitment initiatives, and other activities aimed at attracting and identifying suitable talent.
- Coordinate and deliver effective onboarding processes that ensure new employees are welcomed, informed, properly equipped, and able to contribute confidently from the beginning of their employment.
- Develop strong working relationships with managers by understanding their teams, operational requirements, employee challenges, and people-related needs.
- Provide managers with clear, practical, and professional guidance on HR processes, employee matters, performance concerns, and people-related decisions.
- Drive and support the performance management process, ensuring that expectations are clearly communicated, performance discussions are conducted effectively, and appropriate accountability is maintained.
- Work collaboratively with the broader HR function and management to implement people initiatives that improve employee engagement, development, performance, and overall workplace effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date employee records, HR systems, documentation, and people administration in accordance with established HR processes.
- Monitor and support the effective use of HR systems and ensure that employees and managers understand and follow the appropriate processes and tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experiences by taking a practical, solutions-focused approach to workplace and people challenges.
- Contribute to a positive working environment by supporting employee engagement, encouraging collaboration, and promoting a workplace culture where employees can perform and develop effectively.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Additional qualifications or professional development in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Recruitment, or Performance Management would be beneficial.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant generalist HR experience across a broad range of HR functions.
- Practical experience across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee support, performance management, HR administration, and employee relations.
