Location: Masaiti District (near Kafulafuta Toll Gate), Zambia

About Us

Winco Industries is a Chinese manufacturing company establishing a new factory in Masaiti District, near the Kafulafuta Toll Gate. As we expand our operations in Zambia, we are seeking experienced, qualified professionals to join our team and support the long-term manufacturing operations of the factory.

Driver (2 Positions)

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate company vehicle(s) to transport goods, materials, equipment, and/or personnel as assigned
• Plan routes and ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods or passengers
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tyres, lights, brakes, etc.)
• Promptly report mechanical faults, accidents, or irregularities to the transport/maintenance office
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage, and fuel consumption records
• Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and compliant with statutory road safety requirements
• Assist with loading/offloading of goods where required
• Strictly adhere to Zambian road traffic laws and company transport/safety policies

Requirements:

• Valid Class C1 Driving Licence (RTSA-issued), free of endorsements
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven driving experience in a similar role
• Clean, valid driving record with no history of major traffic offences
• Good knowledge of local and regional road networks
• Basic vehicle troubleshooting/maintenance knowledge is an added advantage
• A valid Defensive Driving certificate is an added advantage
• Physically fit, honest, reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

General Requirements

• Valid NRC/Passport
• Willingness to be based on-site at the factory in Masaiti District and travel as required
• Good communication skills and professional conduct
