ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMISSION

The Anti-Corruption Commission whose mission is to effectively prevent and combat corruption in order to promote integrity, transparency and accountability for sustainable development in Zambia invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT [1]

(a) Job Purpose

To undertake accounting support services in order to facilitate financial reporting.

(b) Principal Accountabilities

  • To undertake effectively preparation of receipts for all payments made to the Commission in order to ensure capture of revenue;
  • To undertake timely the banking of all receipted revenue in order to ensure safe custody of funds and accountability;
  • To undertake effectively the administration of Petty Cash in order to ensure reimbursement and prompt settlement of minor payments;
  • To undertake effectively asset verification in order to facilitate accountability;
  • To undertake timely parking of documents in the financial management system in order to facilitate payment processing.

(c) Qualifications

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate;
  • Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent;
  • Valid Membership to Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA);
  • Minimum of two (2) year’s relevant post qualifying work experience;
  • Must be aged between 25 and 35 years old.
