Key Responsibilities for the Accountant Role

• Record and maintain accurate daily site expenses and financial accounts.
• Manage petty cash and verify all expense claims and supplier invoices.
• Prepare payroll records and schedule payments efficiently.
• Reconcile accounts with subcontractors, equipment, and material suppliers to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of fuel consumption, equipment operating hours, and material purchases.
• Generate regular financial reports and collaborate closely with site management teams.

Qualifications and Experience Required for Accountant Jobs in Zambia

• Female candidate holding a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years’ relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated honesty, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on project sites across Zambia.
• Experience in construction site accounting is an advantage.
