Accountant Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Intern to support the finance and accounting team with day-to-day financial activities while gaining practical experience in accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with recording and processing financial transactions.
• Support accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation.
• Assist with data entry, financial reports, and month-end accounting activities.
• Maintain proper filing and confidentiality of financial information.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifification & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA certification is an advantage
• Basic accounting & bookkeeping knowledge
• Microsoft Excel & accounting software proficiency
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy & integrity
