Available Positions: Truck Drivers and Mechanics Jobs in Lusaka

1. PSV (DG) Truck Drivers (Volvo/Shacman – Manual and Mechanics)

Key Requirements:

• Minimum age of 25 years.
• At least 5 years of professional experience driving Volvo or Shacman trucks and trailers, including both manual and automatic gearboxes.
• Valid Class CE and DG driver’s license.
• Zambian nationality with a valid green card.
• Three or more traceable references or certificates of service from reputable companies.
• Valid police clearance and fingerprint certificate issued within the last 12 months.
• Mechanical knowledge is considered an advantage.

2. Heavy Duty Truck Mechanics (3 Positions)

Role Overview: The Heavy Duty Truck Mechanics will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Ensuring all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and operating efficiently is essential. The role requires identifying mechanical faults and providing effective technical solutions to minimize downtime and breakdowns.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of five years’ experience as a heavy-duty truck mechanic.
• Traceable references, preferably from transport companies.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems.
• Ability to work independently, diagnose faults, and implement hands-on repairs.
• Practical experience with Volvo and Shacman trucks and a solid understanding of Cummins engines.
