About the Truck Drivers Jobs in Zambia at Juba Transport Ltd

As a truck driver with Juba Transport Ltd, you will be responsible for safely delivering cargo to client sites contracted by the company. This role requires adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements while providing excellent customer service throughout your delivery routes, which may span intercity distances or cross multiple countries within the SADC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and trailers to deliver goods efficiently and safely.
• Load, handle, and transport heavy cargo with care and compliance to safety standards.
• Complete and verify all necessary paperwork related to assigned cargo.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer service and safety during deliveries.
• Comply with all commercial vehicle laws and traffic regulations across the states served.

Qualifications and Requirements

General Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 9 school certificate; Grade 12 certificate is advantageous.
• Medically fit to perform driving duties.
• Clean driving record with no history of violations.
• Ability to pass random drug tests.

Tanker Driver Specific Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience driving fuel tankers or similar vehicles for reputable companies.
• Valid PSV driver’s license class CE, including “G” and “D” endorsements.

Flatbed / Tautliner Driver Specific Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience driving flatbed or tautliner trucks for reputable companies.
• Proven ability to handle trucks with Super link trailers.
