Available Teaching Positions
We are recruiting for the following contract-based full-time roles:
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teachers: 3 positions
- Primary School Teachers: 4 positions
Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher Roles
The ECE teachers will create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports young children in developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills. This role involves planning and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons to foster early learning readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement daily routines, games, and lessons covering letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.
- Monitor developmental milestones and assess individual student needs to provide targeted support.
- Maintain a clean and secure classroom environment, ensuring active supervision during play and meals.
- Communicate professionally with parents and guardians through daily updates and progress reports.
- Encourage positive social behavior, empathy, sharing, and constructive conflict resolution among children.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE with at least 5 credits, including English.
- Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license and registration with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at a reputable school preferred.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages such as Bemba is advantageous.
Primary School Teacher Opportunities
Primary School Teachers will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and challenging curriculum that supports students’ academic and personal development. The role requires creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture a primary class, supporting the holistic development of all students.
- Collaborate with the Head Teacher and colleagues to ensure effective teaching and learning.
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with a rigorous curriculum.
- Create inquiry-based classrooms that promote critical thinking, trust, respect, and fairness.
- Utilize relevant resources and digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Develop assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
- Communicate professionally with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Offer pastoral support and actively participate in extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full Grade 12 certificate with at least 5 credits.
- Primary Teacher’s Diploma or higher qualification.
- Registered and licensed member of the Teaching Council of Zambia.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at a reputable school.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent IT and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
