Barloworld Equipment Zambia Ltd is currently recruiting for multiple full-time positions based in Lusaka and Kitwe. We invite qualified professionals seeking security supervisor jobs in Lusaka and related roles to apply and join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities or duties

We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Site Supervisor to lead and manage site security operations at our Lusaka location. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and facilities through effective supervision and operational management.

• Lead daily security operations and supervise security officers to ensure compliance with site security protocols.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability reviews, and site inspections.
• Monitor and manage access control systems, CCTV, and other security technologies.
• Investigate security incidents, losses, thefts, and breaches promptly and thoroughly.
• Oversee security contractors and service providers to maintain high standards.
• Coordinate emergency responses and maintain incident reporting procedures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and security procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and visitor logs.
• Prepare detailed security reports and provide recommendations to management.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Full Grade 12 Certificate.

Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Military Science, or related fields.

Proficient in physical security, investigations, loss prevention, contractor management, access control, and emergency response.

Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and incident management systems.

Valid Driver’s Licence.

Excellent report writing, data analysis, and Microsoft Office skills.

Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating high integrity and professionalism.

Experience needed

At least 7 years of relevant security experience, including 5 years in a supervisory or management capacity.

Experience in multi-site, industrial, mining, logistics, warehouse, or heavy equipment environments preferred.
