Background

Barloworld Equipment Zambia Ltd is currently recruiting for multiple full-time positions based in Lusaka and Kitwe. We invite qualified professionals seeking security supervisor jobs in Lusaka and related roles to apply and join our dynamic team.

Role Context

The Central Condition Monitoring Analyst will support maintenance planning and execution by analysing machine health data and recommending preventive interventions. This position is critical in ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to maintenance planners for preventive maintenance scheduling and execution.
• Manage oil sampling data and recommend appropriate maintenance interventions.
• Implement and close out condition monitoring recommendations in collaboration with customers.
• Analyse telematics and machine health data to identify trends and potential issues.
• Aggregate data to inform preventive maintenance strategies.
• Utilize available tools and technology to optimize maintenance recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices.
• Manage VIMS data reports and monitor machine health information.
• Proactively address customer maintenance backlogs.
• Provide initial data analysis for component root-cause investigations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Diploma or Advanced Technician Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years practical experience working with earthmoving machinery.
• Sound understanding of machine operations, component systems, and reliability principles.
• Experience with telematics, VIMS, and machine health data analysis.
• Strong report writing, communication, numerical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI applications.
• Engineering qualifications and technical analyst experience are advantageous.
