Strathmore Insurance Brokers Limited is an Insurance Brokerage firm located in Lusaka. The company provides a range of insurance brokerage services. The company is looking for a motivated, energetic and results-driven individual to join its team as a Sales Executive.

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Sales Executive

COMPANY: Strathmore Insurance Brokers Limited

REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer/ Chief Executive Officer

LOCATION: Lusaka

JOB SUMMARY

Sales Executive must be confident, ambitious, proactive and passionate about sales. The ideal candidate should be comfortable approaching new clients, developing business relationships and working in a target-driven environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Prospecting and acquiring new individual and corporate clients.
• Marketing and selling various insurance products and solutions.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Preparing quotations and following up on prospective business.
• Meeting assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
• Conducting client visits, presentations and business development activities.
• Maintaining an active sales pipeline and providing regular sales reports.
• Supporting client retention and renewal of insurance policies.
• Promoting the company's products and services professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• A Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance, Sales or a related field.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, insurance or financial services will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to prospect independently and generate new business.
• A strong results-oriented attitude with the ability to work towards targets.
• Good computer literacy and report-writing skills.
• Knowledge of the Zambian insurance market will be an added advantage.

• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong customer service orientation.
