About the Sales and Marketing Officer Role

As a Sales and Marketing Officer, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and enhancing our market presence. This position requires a customer-focused professional who can identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert enquiries into successful sales. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services while maintaining accurate sales records and reports.

Key Responsibilities for Sales and Marketing Officer Jobs in Lusaka

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Generate leads and follow up on enquiries to convert them into sales.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years proven experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or business development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Good organisational, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
• Valid driver’s licence with preferably at least 5 years driving experience.
• Membership in the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) is required.

Preferred Experience and Attributes

• Experience in direct selling to the mining industry is an added advantage.
• Holder of a valid driver’s license.
• Confident, energetic, and commercially minded individual.
• Passionate about building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Comfortable engaging directly with clients and conducting business development visits.
• Proactive in pursuing new business opportunities and converting leads into sales.
• Target-driven and committed to contributing to business growth.
