Position Overview

As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of corporate clients by delivering customised financial solutions that drive profitability while ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies. The role centres on fostering enduring client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and supporting Access Bank Zambia’s strategic goals within the corporate banking segment.

Key Responsibilities for Relationship Manager Jobs in Lusaka

• Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with corporate clients, acting as their primary contact and tailoring financial products to meet their specific needs.
• Business Development: Identify new corporate business opportunities, cross-sell banking products such as loans, trade finance, treasury, and cash management, and meet assigned revenue, deposit, and lending targets.
• Credit and Risk Management: Perform credit analyses, prepare proposals, monitor loan performance, and ensure risk mitigation in line with Bank of Zambia regulations and internal risk policies.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of corporate accounts to maximise profitability, monitor key performance indicators, and resolve client issues promptly.
• Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide strategic insights for product development and corporate banking growth.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with internal product teams, mentor junior staff, and represent Access Bank Zambia at industry forums and corporate events.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in corporate banking or relationship management.
• Strong expertise in credit analysis, corporate finance, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
