Role Description

The Quantity Surveyor role at Prime Legacy Properties Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Ndola. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), estimate project costs, and develop cost plans for land and property-related projects. Daily tasks include tracking project expenditures, monitoring cost performance, and preparing cost reports for management and stakeholders. The role involves collaborating with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement and value for money. The Quantity Surveyor will also support budget management, risk assessment related to costs, and provide accurate financial projections throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in Cost Control and Cost Management for property development and construction projects.
• Strong skills in preparing and reviewing BOQs, including quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
• Experience in Cost Planning, including budget development, forecasting, and financial tracking.
• Proficiency in Cost Reporting, with the capacity to present clear, accurate reports to management and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with industry-standard quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical skills, and ability to work to deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
• Relevant work experience in real estate, land development, or construction projects is an advantage.
