About the Public Relations & Partnerships Officer Role

As a Public Relations & Partnerships Officer, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strategic relationships with government bodies, corporate partners, and other stakeholders. Your efforts will directly support UBPN Zambia’s mission to enhance industry collaboration and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent UBPN Zambia at meetings with government institutions, companies, and relevant stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue partnership opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up on proposals.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare detailed reports, and track progress on agreed actions.
• Draft official correspondence, presentations, and partnership proposals to support organizational goals.
• Assist with publicity initiatives, media relations, and raising membership awareness.
• Maintain positive and productive relationships with partners and association members.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication skills, including writing and presentation capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with computer applications.
• Ability to work independently while representing UBPN Zambia professionally.
• Willingness to attend scheduled meetings and travel as necessary.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
