The Council of Mulungushi University is an equal opportunity employer and is inviting qualified and sufficiently motivated individuals to apply for the following positions:
Job purpose:
To provide effective communication, public relations services and timely dissemination of information through the University’s Communication Strategy for enhancement of institutional visibility, stakeholder engagement and satisfaction and to manage the University’s image and reputation.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Must have a Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum of five “O” levels with Credit or better in English
- Must have an earned Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations or Mass Communication, or Journalism from a reputable and recognized University
- An earned Master’s degree in Public Relations or Mass Communication, or Journalism from a recognised and reputable University will be an added advantage
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have good verbal, written and interpersonal skills in English language
- Must have knowledge and proficiency in desktop publishing and multi-media production software packages
- Must have knowledge and proficiency in website and digital marketing software
- Must have full membership to a relevant professional body in Zambia
Experience needed
Must have at least four years post-qualification experience in public relations and communication management
