Operating Theater Nurse Position
We are currently recruiting an Operating Theater Nurse who will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety within the operating theatre.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Certificate or Diploma in Theatre/Operating Theatre Nursing is highly preferred.
- Valid practising licence issued by the General Nursing Council of Zambia (GNCZ).
- 2 to 5 years of experience working in a busy operating theatre environment.
Key Skills Required:
- Comprehensive knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization processes, and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, focus, and physical stamina to meet the demands of the role.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
