About the Role: Human Resources Officer Jobs in Lusaka

As a Human Resources Officer at Hongyuan Engineering Company Limited, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s workforce management and HR administration. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing recruitment processes including interviews, onboarding, and preparing employment contracts.
• Maintaining accurate employee attendance records, personnel files, and payroll information.
• Handling employee relations, disciplinary actions, issuing warning letters, and managing contract terminations.
• Ensuring full compliance with Zambian labour laws and employment regulations.
• Coordinating PAYE, NAPSA, and NHIMA contributions in collaboration with the company accountant.
• Assisting with recruitment and workforce management across multiple project sites.
• Liaising with the Labour Office and other government departments as required.
• Providing HR and administrative support to company management.

Candidate Requirements for Human Resources Officer Jobs in Lusaka

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications and experience:

• A Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
• At least two years of relevant HR experience, preferably within construction or engineering companies.
• Strong knowledge of Zambian labour laws, employment contracts, and disciplinary procedures.
• Familiarity with NAPSA, NHIMA, and PAYE statutory requirements.
• Proficient English communication and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently, responsibly, and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience interacting with the Labour Office is considered an advantage.
