Financial Planner

Role Summary:

The Financial Planner is responsible for managing the organization’s financial health through strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. This role analyzes financial data to provide actionable insights that guide decision-making and ensure long-term fiscal sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and create long-term financial forecasts (3–5 years).
• Financial Analysis: Analyze revenue streams, operational costs, and investment performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure the organization meets its operational obligations and maintains adequate reserves.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership and the Board.
• Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to develop financial strategies aligned with organizational goals (e.g., expansion, cost reduction).
• Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certification (CFP, CFA, CPA) is highly desirable.
• years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software and Excel.
• Strong understanding of non-profit accounting principles (if applicable).
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
