Role Summary:

The Procurement & Logistics Coordinator ensures the efficient acquisition and distribution of goods and services required for the organization’s operations. This role involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing inventory and transportation to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement: Source suppliers, request quotes, and negotiate pricing for materials and services.
  • Purchase Orders: Process purchase orders and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers and evaluate their performance.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Logistics: Coordinate shipping, warehousing, and distribution of goods (including customs clearance if international).
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and donor regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • ☑ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or operations.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations (if applicable).
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve logistical problems quickly.
