Field Implementation Lead

TRUE SOURCE IS HIRING: Field Implementation Lead — Zambia

True Source is a Zambian mineral traceability platform. We track mineral material from source, depot, stockpile and plant through to dispatch, with reconciliation and compliance evidence at every step.

We are looking for a practical, field-oriented person to lead implementation on the ground and support site deployments across Zambia.

What you’ll do:

• Lead system setup and daily field implementation at mine, plant and depot sites
• Train site users, including weighbridge operators, depot staff, plant users and supervisors
• Check data quality every shift and follow up on gaps, errors and exceptions
• Work closely with site management and the True Source technical team
• Prepare clear weekly implementation and operational reports
• Support client onboarding, process mapping and future site rollouts

Essential:

• At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in one or more of the following: mine operations, plant operations, ASM gold buying/depot work, weighbridge and dispatch, mineral stockpile management, sampling or assay workflows.
• Comfortable working on site for extended periods and travelling to mining areas. Working between mine sites and processing plants.
• Confident using smartphones, tablets and Excel.

A strong advantage:

• Bemba, Nyanja or another local language
• Experience training non-technical users
• Knowledge of chain of custody, minerals traceability, OECD compliance
• Experience with mining, mineral logistics, weighbridge records, stockpiles or assay documentation

Role details:

Role based in Lusaka, with regular site travel to the Copperbelt, North-Western Province and other mining areas.

Expected start: January 2027
