National Breweries Plc invites applications for the position of Distribution Driver/Salesperson, offering exciting driver salesperson jobs in Lusaka, Kitwe, and Mpika. About the Role: Distribution Driver/Salesperson

The successful candidate will be responsible for product distribution along designated routes, safeguarding company assets, and accurately managing sales and cash collections. This full-time role demands commitment to safe driving practices, strong customer relations, and adherence to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities for Driver Salesperson Jobs in Lusaka and Beyond

• Serve all customers according to the approved route listings in Lusaka, Kitwe, or Mpika.
• Maintain and care for the assigned vehicle to ensure operational safety and reliability.
• Drive responsibly, avoiding vehicle misuse and preventing over-speeding incidents.
• Sell company products effectively and reconcile all cash proceeds accurately before banking.
• Handle product returns and balance backs in compliance with company standards.
• Collect market intelligence and provide timely feedback to management to support business growth.
• Address customer complaints promptly and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
• Complete route debriefs and submit required reports after each trip.
• Foster positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of five (5) O-Level credits.
• Valid and clean Class 2 Driver’s Licence.
• At least two (2) years of driving experience.
• Strong communication and public relations skills.
• Basic numerical ability and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Competencies and Reporting Structure

The role requires integrity, accountability, excellent customer service orientation, and strong interpersonal skills. Attention to detail, time management, reliability, and knowledge of delivery and distribution operations are essential.

The Distribution Driver/Salesperson reports directly to the Distribution Controller and maintains collaborative relationships with Sales and Distribution Clerks as well as the Freight and Distribution Overseer. Regular interaction with customers and multiple company departments is expected.
