Role Overview: Civil Site Supervisor Jobs in Lusaka

As a Civil Site Supervisor, you will oversee all civil construction activities related to substation works, ensuring that daily site operations align with project specifications and quality standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in monitoring contractor performance, managing site safety, and supporting the timely delivery of project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil works on-site for substation construction.
• Monitor and evaluate contractor workmanship, progress, and adherence to project requirements.
• Identify and address risks, delays, or non-conformances affecting site progress.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Oversee critical civil activities and verify quality control procedures including inspections and testing.
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols on site.
• Keep detailed daily site records and contribute to weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve site issues efficiently.
• Verify quantities, site documentation, and completed works for accurate reporting and certification.
• Support inspection, testing, commissioning preparation, and handover processes.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience supervising civil works on substation projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil quality control, health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
