Business Development Manager

Gheewala Staffing and Recruitment Agency is recruiting on behalf of a client operating in the Construction Equipment, Drilling Machinery, and Hospital Equipment & Supplies sectors.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive business growth, develop strategic client relationships, and generate new sales opportunities across Zambia.

Location: Lusaka, Zambia Employment Type: Hybrid Monthly Salary: ZMW 5,000 + 10% commission of net profit generated Application Deadline: 30th September, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source buyers for construction equipment, drilling machinery, hospital equipment, and medical supplies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the mining, construction, medical, government, and institutional sectors.
• Generate leads, arrange meetings, prepare and follow up on quotations, and support transactions through completion.
• Build and maintain a strong network of buyers, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to market expansion across Zambia.
• Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, client engagements, and sales progress.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, B2B sales, or a related role.
• Existing contacts in the mining, construction, medical, or industrial sectors will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, networking, and relationship-management skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
• Ability and willingness to travel within Zambia.
