A Bike Rider (Motorbike Courier) at Katuna Courier Limited is responsible for the timely, safe, and efficient collection and delivery of parcels, documents, and packages to clients. The rider acts as a direct representative of the company, combining navigation skills with strong customer service.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Package Delivery & Collection: Timely pickup and drop-off of parcels, documents, and customer orders across assigned delivery routes.
• Route & Navigation Management: Plan optimal routes using navigation tools (e.g., Google Maps) to ensure prompt delivery and avoid delays.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the assigned motorbike clean, in good working condition, and conduct basic routine maintenance checks.
• Client Service & Professionalism: Provide courteous, professional service upon delivery, building positive relationships with customers.
• Proof of Delivery & Cash Handling: Maintain delivery records, obtain recipient signatures/confirmation, and manage cash collection where applicable (e.g., pay-on-delivery).
• Package Handling: Carefully load, unload, and secure parcels to prevent loss or damage during transit.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Licensing: Valid Motorbike Driving License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
• Documentation: National Registration Card (NRC) or valid identity document.
• Local Knowledge: Good familiarity with local roads, landmarks, and delivery zones.
• Tech Literacy: Smartphone ownership with proficiency in messaging and navigation apps (Google Maps, WhatsApp).
• Mechanical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of motorbike mechanics and safety troubleshooting.
• Personal Attributes: Punctual, honest, sober-minded, and strong communication skills.
