Responsibilities:

• Strong demonstration to; Diagnose and repair starting and charging systems, wiring harnesses, sensors, Electronic Control Units (ECUs), and control modules, lighting and safety systems in heavy-duty vehicles (preferably Scania engines).
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer standards.
• Carry out field repair assignments when required.
• Ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot electrical schematics and manuals.

Job requirements:

• Zambian citizen
• Diploma in heavy duty automotive electrical
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven work experience in heavy duty vehicles with at least two traceable employment referees from reputable organisations with reachable contacts
• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
• Mature, professional with strong communication skills
• Honest, reliable and disciplined.

Mandatory requirements;

• Copy of GCE school certificate
• Minimum Diploma in heavy duty automotive electrical
• Copy of National Registration Card
• At least two traceable employment reference letters from reputable organisations with reachable contacts (MUST not be more than 12 months from date of issue) for proof of work experience in heavy duty vehicles.
