JOB OPPORTUNITY: VAN SALESMAN

An established FMCG company based in the Industrial Area, Lusaka is looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Van Salesman to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the company sales van and sell products to customers along designated routes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
• Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
• Ensure timely deliveries and accurate order fulfillment.
• Collect payments and account for all sales made.
• Maintain proper stock control and prepare daily sales reports.
• Ensure the sales van is kept clean and roadworthy, and report any mechanical faults promptly.
• Promote company products and identify new business opportunities.
• Follow assigned local routes efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Class C Driving Licence.
• Proven experience in van sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Good knowledge of local routes within Lusaka and surrounding areas.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
• Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and able to handle product loading and unloading.
