1. Underground Loader Operator
Department: Mining Operations
Location: Chibuluma Mine, Lufwanyama, Copperbelt Province
Reports To: Shift Boss / Mine Captain
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Summary: Operate underground load-haul-dump (LHD) equipment to safely and efficiently load, haul, and discharge ore and waste material in line with production plans and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate underground LHD/loader equipment (e.g., Shandong Shili/TYMG dump trucks) safely and efficiently.
Load and transport ore and waste material to designated locations.
Conduct pre-start inspections and report any equipment defects promptly.
Maintain accurate production and equipment operating records.
Comply with underground safety requirements including ground control and ventilation.
Participate actively in safety programmes and toolbox meetings.
Use and maintain all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 School Certificate.
Valid Heavy Equipment / LHD Operator Certificate or equivalent qualification.
At least 2 years’ experience operating underground LHD/loader equipment.
Experience in underground hard-rock mining is highly advantageous.
Good knowledge of underground mining safety procedures.
Physically fit to work underground on a shift basis.
2. Underground Dump Truck Driver
Department: Mining Operations
Location: Chibuluma Mine, Lufwanyama, Copperbelt Province
Reports To: Shift Boss / Mine Captain
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Summary: Safely operate underground dump trucks to transport ore and waste material according to mine production plans and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate underground dump trucks efficiently and safely.
Perform daily pre-start inspections and report defects immediately.
Follow designated routes and dumping procedures.
Maintain accurate production and vehicle operating records.
Comply with underground traffic rules and mine safety procedures.
Attend safety meetings and wear prescribed PPE at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 School Certificate.
Valid Heavy Vehicle / Dump Truck Operator Certificate.
Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the equipment.
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating underground dump trucks.

3. Electrician – Underground Mining Jobs in Kalulushi
Department: Engineering / Electrical Maintenance

Reports To: Electrical Supervisor / Engineering Manager

Role Summary: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment underground to ensure operational reliability and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Install and maintain underground electrical equipment and power distribution systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults promptly.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Conduct testing, isolation, and ensure adherence to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment defects.
Participate in planned maintenance shutdowns and emergency repairs.
Adhere to electrical safety standards and participate in safety programmes.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 School Certificate.
Craft Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
Valid electrical trade qualification and relevant professional registration where applicable.
At least 3 years’ experience in electrical maintenance, preferably underground mining.
Strong knowledge of industrial and underground electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Physically fit for underground shift work.
