About the Role: Transport & Logistics Officer Jobs in Zambia
As a Transport & Logistics Officer at Oasis Energies, you will oversee and coordinate all transport and logistics activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and efficient fleet management. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and play a key role in managing both local and cross-border transport operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure fleet and driver compliance with all relevant authorities and regulations.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise transport and logistics operations to optimize efficiency.
- Manage incidents involving traffic accidents and other transport-related challenges.
- Prepare detailed logistics reports and provide updates to the Operations Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in transport and logistics, including at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Transport & Logistics or an equivalent qualification.
- Possession of ZAQA-accredited qualifications is mandatory.
Candidate Requirements and Attributes
- Proven ability to manage both local and cross-border transport operations effectively.
- Proficiency with GPS fleet tracking software and transport management systems.
- Applicants should be aged 45 years or above.
