Supply Chain Manager

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory, or operations management.
• Proven experience managing procurement, supplier relationships, inventory planning, and logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, procurement strategies, and inventory optimisation.
• Experience coordinating imports, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and distribution activities.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management experience.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
• Experience within manufacturing, assembly, technology, or distribution environments is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier performance, and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Translate sales forecasts into procurement, production, and inventory plans.
• Ensure the availability of materials and components to support operational requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock ageing, inventory accuracy, and working capital performance.
• Coordinate import, export, freight, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring business continuity.
• Collaborate with operations, production, finance, and sales teams to optimise supply chain performance.
• Monitor supply chain KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare procurement, inventory, logistics, and performance reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain and procurement team.

• Certification in Lean Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or Project Management is beneficial.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and supply chain planning tools.
• Continuous professional development in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management is advantageous.
