Station Manager – Lusaka (1 Position)
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Operations Manager / General Manager
The Station Manager will lead the overall operation of a fuel station, ensuring efficient management of staff, stock, safety, and customer service. This role demands expertise in fuel station operations, cash handling, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily station operations and supervise fuel attendants, cashiers, and cleaners.
Develop staff schedules and monitor attendance, discipline, and performance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly station environment.
Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
Monitor fuel stock levels, deliveries, sales, and conduct stock reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Train staff on emergency procedures and enforce safety protocols.
Oversee cash handling, sales reconciliation, and revenue improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum Grade 12 Certificate; diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Management or related field is advantageous.
At least 2–3 years of experience in fuel station operations, preferably in supervisory or management roles.
Proven leadership, staff management, and customer service skills.
Strong knowledge of safety procedures and operational best practices.
Excellent communication, numerical, and record-keeping abilities.
Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
Reliable, disciplined, and able to perform under pressure.
