Sr. Manager-Civil

Role Summary:

To oversee the civil infrastructure of the plant and colony, including structural integrity of buildings, foundations, water reservoirs, and road construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural Integrity: Ensure the safety of high-rise structures (boiler columns, mill houses) and foundations exposed to heavy vibrations.
• Project Execution: Manage the construction and renovation of factory buildings, bagasse godowns, and sugarcane yards.
• Quantity Surveying: Prepare estimates and bills for civil works, ensuring cost control.
• Maintenance: Oversee the repair of factory roads, drainage systems, and water supply networks.
• Contractor Management: Supervise external civil contractors and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to local building codes and environmental clearance conditions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 18-20 years of experience in industrial construction and maintenance.
• Experience in designing heavy-duty flooring capable of withstanding heavy machinery loads.
