Brooke Consultancy Limited is recruiting one SLM Equipment Operator for a major two-year mining and construction project at Katende in Kasai Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator Certificate relevant to the specific SLM equipment
• At least three to five years’ experience operating the specific machine
• Competency certificate or manufacturer-specific training where available

REQUIRED ABILITIES

• Conduct pre-start inspections
• Operate the machine safely
• Perform basic preventive-maintenance checks
• Identify hazards
• Report defects promptly

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid medical-fitness certificate
• Good safety record
• Mining or heavy-industrial experience
• Ability to work shifts
