Senior Project Manager

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related construction discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or Business Management is advantageous.
• Minimum 12 years' experience in the construction industry, including at least 8 years in a senior project management role.
• Proven experience managing multiple high-value commercial, industrial, civil, or infrastructure projects simultaneously.
• Extensive experience in reinforced concrete construction and structural concrete works.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams of 200+ employees, subcontractors, engineers, and site personnel.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings.
• Solid knowledge of project planning, budgeting, contract administration, procurement, logistics, HSEQ, and quality management.
• Experience working in remote or challenging project environments.
• Proficient in project reporting, resource planning, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of multiple large-scale construction projects from planning and mobilisation through to commissioning and final handover.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, construction programmes, budgets, forecasts, and resource schedules.
• Oversee all site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Direct and mentor Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractors.
• Manage labour, equipment, plant, materials, and subcontractor performance to maximise productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve technical and operational challenges, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee procurement planning, supplier management, logistics, and material availability across projects.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies, statutory regulations, environmental standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Review project costs, cash flow, variations, claims, and commercial performance to maintain profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and regulatory authorities while providing regular progress reports to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related construction discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or Business Management (advantageous).
• Minimum 12 years' construction industry experience.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in a senior project management position.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects from inception through to handover.
• Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and multiple project sites.
• Valid driver's licence with willingness to travel extensively to remote project locations.
