Security Manager

Key Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' senior security management experience.
• Experience within logistics, transport, mining, fuel distribution, or other high-risk industries.
• Proven experience managing transport, fleet, and cargo security.
• Strong background in criminal investigations, fraud prevention, and risk management.
• Experience working closely with law enforcement agencies and external security providers.
• Knowledge of insurance claims, compliance, and incident management.
• Proficiency in GPS tracking, telematics, CCTV, and security technologies.
• Strong leadership, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across operational sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security strategies to protect people, assets, and operations.
• Lead investigations into theft, fraud, fuel losses, and organised criminal activity.
• Manage transport, fleet, and cargo security across multiple operational sites.
• Conduct security risk assessments and implement preventative measures.
• Oversee outsourced security providers and monitor their performance.
• Liaise with law enforcement, insurers, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders.
• Manage security-related insurance claims and support investigations with accurate reporting.
• Monitor security performance, analyse trends, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare regular security, incident, and risk reports for senior management.
• Drive the implementation of technology and AI-driven security solutions to enhance operational security.

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.
