Role Description

The Sales Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Lusaka, responsible for overseeing daily sales operations and leading a sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets. This role includes planning and monitoring sales activities, coordinating with customers to understand their equipment needs, preparing quotations, and following up on leads and orders. The Sales Supervisor will support and guide the sales team, conduct training sessions, and ensure consistent customer service standards. The role also involves analyzing market trends, tracking performance metrics, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with other departments to ensure timely delivery, after-sales support, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• The Candidate should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, understand market trends, and forecast demand.
• The candidate should possess effective Team Management and Training skills to lead, coach, and develop sales staff.
• The candidate should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to build relationships, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
• The candidate should have experience in sales, preferably in heavy equipment, engineering machinery, or related industrial sectors.
• Candidates should hold a relevant diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
• The Candidate should be proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office) and comfortable with CRM or sales tracking tools.
• The Candidate should demonstrate a results-oriented mindset, strong negotiation abilities, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of the Zambian construction, mining, or transport equipment market is an added advantage.
