Key Responsibilities for Sales Intern Jobs in Solwezi

• Promote and cross-sell Liberty Credit’s products and services to build lasting customer relationships.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly sales reports through the Team Leader.
• Develop and share sales plans in coordination with the Team Leader.
• Upsell assigned products while ensuring compliance and avoiding mis-selling.
• Identify new marketing opportunities and attract prospective customers by analyzing the market and economic trends.
• Create and monitor customer sales programs to maximize engagement.
• Keep management informed about competitor activities and market developments.
• Provide feedback on product and service enhancements.
• Deliver tailored product solutions that meet customer needs.
• Build strong internal relationships to support customer service excellence and sales targets.
• Enhance the company’s local presence through active community involvement.
• Manage customer complaints by escalating and following up on resolution processes.
• Ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation is accurately completed.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Presentable, honest, mature, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proactive and sales-driven with strong initiative, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• At least three years’ sales experience in the microfinance industry, including handling personal loans (GRZ), collateral-based loans, group loans, and business loans.
• Strong presentation, numerical, and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to engage effectively with diverse clients and communicate at all organizational levels with a customer-focused approach.
