Sales and Technical Support Representative

Are you passionate about agriculture and driven by sales? We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales & Technical Support Representative to join our growing team in the Copperbelt Region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing our customer base, driving demand for agricultural products and providing essential technical support to farmers and agro-dealers across the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

DEMAND CREATION & SALES GROWTH

• Drive commercial sales across the full Plantlife product portfolio.
• Build strong relationships with agro-dealers and farmers.
• Identify new business opportunities and onboard new agro-dealers and technical support clients.
• Service and support existing clients throughout the Copperbelt region.

FIELD TECHNICAL SUPPORT

• Provide on-farm technical advice and support farmers.
• Conduct in-store merchandising activities to enhance product visibility and sales.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide pre- and post-sales technical support.

PRODUCT DEMONSTRATIONS & TRAINING

• Organize and conduct field days, demo plots, and farmer training.
• Showcase product performance and promote best product practices.
• Evaluate and conduct product development trials.

MARKET INTELLIGENCE

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback.
• Provide timely and actionable market insights to management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years' proven experience in agricultural sales or a technical field support role.
• Experience in crop management, technical advisory services, or agricultural input sales.

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess a valid Class A Motorbike License.
• At least one (1) year of active and confident motorbike riding experience in rural and field environments.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Farmer-focused with a passion for sustainable agricultural practices.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in other local Copperbelt languages is an added advantage.
